Risk Disclaimer

1. What QuantX is
In short: Software and education. Not advice, and not a person managing your money.
QuantX provides charting indicators, options-positioning analytics (including gamma exposure levels), market context, a desktop application, educational material and community discussion. All of it is informational and educational.
QuantX is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, commodity trading advisor, or futures commission merchant. Nobody at QuantX is acting as your fiduciary, and nothing produced by QuantX is personalised to your circumstances, risk tolerance, or objectives — because we do not know them.
2. Nothing here is a recommendation
In short: A level on a chart is an observation, not an instruction.
Indicators, levels, alerts, scores, watchlists, screenshots, chat messages and any commentary from staff or members are observations about market data. They are not instructions and not solicitations. The appearance of a ticker, price level or setup anywhere in QuantX is not a suggestion that you should trade it.
QuantX's own tooling states this internally too: the analytical outputs are positioning and structure measurements, and they carry no claim of predictive edge.
3. Risk of loss
In short: Leveraged instruments can lose more than the money you put in.
Trading and investing involve substantial risk. Futures and options are leveraged instruments: adverse moves can produce losses that exceed your initial deposit, and you may be required to fund that difference. Options can expire worthless. Positions can gap through a stop. Liquidity can disappear.
Only risk capital — money you can lose entirely without affecting your financial security or lifestyle — should ever be used for trading. If you do not have risk capital, you should not trade.
4. Past performance is not future results
In short: Backtests and screenshots are history. They are not a forecast.
Any performance figure, backtest, historical example, chart annotation or screenshot shown anywhere in QuantX is illustrative and historical. Past performance is not indicative of future results.
Backtested and hypothetical results carry specific, well-known limitations: they are prepared with the benefit of hindsight, they do not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical record can fully account for the effect of real trading on your decisions — including the discipline to keep following a plan through a losing stretch. Simulated results also cannot fully reflect slippage, fees, commissions, financing costs, partial fills or the market impact of your own orders.
5. No guarantee of profit
In short: We do not claim QuantX makes money. Nobody may claim that on our behalf.
QuantX makes no representation, warranty or guarantee of profit, return, win rate, accuracy or any specific trading outcome. No employee, contractor, moderator, affiliate or community member is authorised to make such a claim on QuantX's behalf, and any such claim you encounter should be treated as unauthorised.
6. Data can be delayed, incomplete or wrong
In short: The numbers come from third parties and are not guaranteed.
Market data shown in QuantX — including options chains, gamma exposure calculations, expected ranges and economic calendars — is sourced from third parties and may be delayed, incomplete, revised or wrong. Some data is explicitly delayed (options-chain data used for gamma exposure is roughly 15-minute delayed public data). Derived values are computed under stated modelling assumptions that will not hold in every market.
Software can also fail. Feeds break, servers restart, indicators mis-plot. Do not place a trade you could not defend if the number on the screen turned out to be stale or wrong. Verify anything material against your broker before acting.
7. You are responsible for your own decisions
In short: You own every order you send.
You are solely responsible for evaluating whether any strategy, level or idea is appropriate for you, and for every order you place. You should consider seeking advice from a licensed financial adviser, tax professional or attorney who knows your circumstances before making investment decisions.
If you are outside the United States, you are responsible for whether your use of these tools is permitted where you live.
8. Questions
In short: Ask us if anything here is unclear.
