QuantX values your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding it.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: email address, display name, Discord ID (when you authenticate via Discord)
- Subscription data: active plan, billing status, subscription history (managed by Whop)
- App usage data: the QuantX desktop app keeps your trading data local on your machine. We do not transmit your trades, journal entries, or strategy parameters to our servers.
- Website analytics: aggregate page-view counts, browser/OS, referrer. No personal identification.
- Support correspondence: the contents of emails or Discord support requests you send us.
2. How we use it
- Provide and maintain the Services
- Process payments via Whop
- Sync Discord roles based on subscription status
- Send service-critical communications (billing issues, security alerts)
- Improve the website and app based on aggregate usage patterns
3. Third-party services
- Whop: Payment processing, subscription management, Discord role sync. Subject to Whop's privacy policy.
- Discord: Community channels, alert delivery. Subject to Discord's privacy policy.
- TradingView: Indicator delivery via TradingView's invite system. Subject to TradingView's privacy policy.
- Yahoo Finance: 15-minute delayed options-chain data for the GEX page in the desktop app. Unauthenticated public requests; no user data, no API key, no account required.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties.
4. Data retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Cancellation and account deletion requests are honored within 30 days. Aggregate analytics are retained indefinitely in anonymized form.
5. Your rights
- Access: request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Correction: request that we correct inaccurate data
- Deletion: request that we delete your account and personal data
- Portability: request a machine-readable export of your data
- Withdrawal: withdraw consent for data processing at any time

6. Cookies
The QuantX website uses minimal cookies — only what's strictly necessary for site function and aggregate analytics. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
7. Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data. The desktop app stores trading data locally on your machine; nothing leaves your computer without your action. License keys are bound to a hardware fingerprint to prevent unauthorized sharing, but no fingerprint data is transmitted to us beyond the license activation step.
8. Children
QuantX is not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via Discord and email where applicable.
